Understanding what type of testing is best suited for different waterproofing applications can vary based on the material and the location. Even then, in areas where a particular type of testing is identified such as electronic leak detection, there are different approaches which can be more appropriate based on the situation.

- Thickness Testing​
Tanks, whether it be rainwater tanks, OSD tanks or tanks for other services
- Thickness Testing (liquid only)​
- Adhesion Testing (vacuum bell test)
