Gunyama Park Aquatic Centre
AQUATIC CENTRES AND LEISURE
Waterproofing Integrity have worked on a number of aquatic and leisure centres across Sydney and NSW. Mitigating leaks and issues in most projects is paramount but particularly when it comes to Olympic size swimming pools. We have tested and inspected the actual pool, surrounding decks, change rooms and wet areas and centre roofs.
If you have an aquatic centre project or similar that requires Waterproofing Integrity's services in onsite testing inspections or compliance consultation, give us a call on 1300 025 944 or email on info@waterproofingintegrity.com.au.
The following are examples of recent aquatic centre and leisure sector projects:
Gunyama Park Aquatic Centre
Waterproofing Integrity has conducted Electronic Leak Detection (ELD), Ultrasonic Thickness Testing and Adhesion Testing to identify the performance characteristics of the waterproofing system lining the pools during construction stage of the Gunyama Park Aquatic and Recreation Centre in Zetland.
This architecturally designed public facility will is a combination of pool designs including,
-
50m heated outdoor pool set within a larger, irregular shaped 'beach pool'.
-
25m heated indoor program pool.
-
Indoor leisure pool.
-
Heated hydrotherapy pool.
The quantitative data provided by these tests allowed the head contractor to analyse the standard to waterproofing being delivered to the project and make changes as needed to ensure the required quality target was achieved.
Muswellbrook Aquatic Centre
Waterproofing Integrity was engaged to provide compliance guidance and onsite electronic leak detection and ultrasonic thickness testing on refurbishment of Muswellbrook Aquatic Centre.
