TRANSPORT AND INFRASTRUCTURE

Waterproofing Integrity have been involved with a number of educational projects across both the public and private, secondary and tertiary institutions. While many projects are new construction, many projects integrate with existing buildings or cover existing waterproofing membrane. Waterproofing Integrity has been engaged to conduct onsite testing and advise on effective waterproofing systems as a consultant for a variety of education projects.

If you have an educational project that requires Waterproofing Integrity's services in onsite testing inspection or compliance consultation, give us a call on 1300 025 944 or email on info@waterproofingintegrity.com.au.

The following are examples of recent education sector projects:

Sydney Metro Stations

The Sydney Metro network is one of the largest infrastructure projects in NSW in the 21st Century. Waterproofing Integrity have been engaged by multiple Tier 1 builders (Lendlease, BESIX Watpac and CPB Contractors) directly to provide onsite testing services and consultation for waterproofing applications in the Metro Station Boxes. These areas will be where passengers will alight from their journeys connected to the Sydney CBD and Lower North Shore.

M5 Tunnel

Waterproofing Integrity was engaged through an engineer on the M5 East tunnel project to provide quality control on waterproofing applications on this project for CPB Contractors.

Sydney Trains

Engineering Building

Our Electronic Leak Detection (ELD) service can be used to determine maintenance requirements through the lifecycle of a waterproofing system. Waterproofing Integrity was contracted to scan the Fatra PVC rooftop waterproofing system as part of the yearly maintenance schedule for the Sydney Trains Engineering Building in Clyde.

Also known as the Clyde Central Hub, this building was completed in 2017 to replace several old depots with a fit-for-purpose new and modern building that accommodates various maintenance and engineering functions into one location.

The report provided by Waterproofing Integrity on completion of the roof scan identified 17 issues including cigarette burns, cuts and punctures in the waterproofing membrane.  These issues were rectified and the building owner was able to maintain the 20 year warranty period for their rooftop waterproofing system.
